Rotary solenoids are used to create simple rotational movements between two fix positions (final positions). Our rotary solenoids use a short-stroke-solenoid in combination with a ball retainer. These balls are conducted along an inclined plane and convert the linear stroke of the solenoid into a fixed angle of rotation.
Features:
- Simple excitation (energize with DC voltage).
- Fail safe due to mechanical reset with spring.
- Short response time (ms-range).
- High degree of efficiency, compact package.
- High torque between 0,4 and 300Ncm.
- Standard sizes and standard rotation angles.
Applications:
- Optical shutter in laser devices.
- Adjustment of apertures and filters for optical devices.
- Switches in sorting facilities.
