Rotary-Solenoids

MG_2773

Rotary solenoids are used to create simple rotational movements between two fix positions (final positions). Our rotary solenoids use a short-stroke-solenoid in combination with a ball retainer. These balls are conducted along an inclined plane and convert the linear stroke of the solenoid into a fixed angle of rotation.

Features:

  • simple excitation (energize with DC voltage)
  • fail safe due to mechanical reset with spring
  • short response time (ms-range)
  • high degree of efficiency, compact package
  • high torque between 0,4 and 300 Ncm.
  • standard sizes and standard rotation angles

Applications:

  • optical shutter in laser devices,
  • adjustment of apertures and filters for optical devices
  • switches in sorting facilities
